Today is National Popcorn Lover's Day
Popcorn is one of my favorite snacks of all times. I love popcorn anytime! The best is when you go to a carnival festival etc and get the homemade Kettle Corn. That is the best! I have below a recipe for yummy Carmel popcorn. very easy recipe. Try it and let me know how it turned out!
Caramel Popcorn1 cup
margarine
2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 teaspoon
salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
6 quarts popped
popcorn
Melt margarine in 2 quart saucepan. Stir in sugar, syrup and
salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly then boil without stirring for 5
minutes. Remove from heat, stir in soda and vanilla. Pour over popped corn in 15
x 9 x 1 inch backing pan. Bake at 250 degrees for one hour. Stirring every 15
minutes to coat popcorn evenly.
Hope you try the recipe, it smells so
good when it is baking, it will be hard not to eat it all as soon as it comes
out of the oven . . which we have done, many times!
