Marriage Pay It Forward

In Marriage there are times when you get distant, self absorbed and distracted. In my Pay It Forward challenge I am also going to make a point to do the "little things"compliment, note, gesture, etc. my husband everyday. I think that it is important to do so. After years of marriage it sometimes seems to be on way side that those things are nice and well accepted!
We often seem to take for granite our spouses and tend to have them on back burner, find the spark again, be kind and gentle and respect and trust!

New Challenge.....

From the Heart..................

OUR NEW CHALLENGE.......Will you join us?

I am starting a new challenge today! This will need to involve all of you helping out. Comments and ideas will need to be shared to inspire all of us.
Paying it forward was once a great deed that the world took to. What happened? It can be something small as holding the door, helping someone carry something or bigger buying a meal or even helping out in ways that could not be explained. This is something that I want my children to practice and pass on to their children. Isn't this what we want for them?

Today just make a small Pay It Forward.....
In Today's world it can seem like an unfriendly, threatening place, yet we all want safety, health, and happiness for ourselves and our loved ones. How can one ordinary person -- you or me -- make a positive difference in this world? One way is the practice "paying it forward." While the steps might be simple, the outcome could change the world. Just try it once a day for one month! It will also make you feel better!
t be thanked enough.

I will be posting a new challenge or deed that we have done on every post. Help us out in the quest for peace and we Invite you to join the challenge with us and follow this to something that might grow big but followers and readers can help! Pass on the blog and encourage others to join.

Accomplishments This Week

So very proud of my girl and so very thankful I have them. They bring so much joy to my life.  Maddie was recommended to apply for National Junior Honor Society. Avery got  a part in the 2nd grade musical as Polly Pomeranian and Bailey also got a part in the musical as the Dalmation Dancer.
I will of course make a video and post it.
Would love to hear comments back what you would like to hear more of of less of. I am about to start a whole series on Tips Tips Tips that we could all use.

The first one being that I learned today that you can put a coffee filter  at the bottom of a flower pot and the soil will not leak on the carpet or out so that you will have to add more soil Pretty clever. Where do people come up with these things.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!
Every February 14, across the United States and in other places around the world, candy, flowers and gifts are exchanged between loved ones, all in the name of St. Valentine. But who is this mysterious saint, and where did these traditions come from? Find out about the history of this centuries-old holiday, from ancient Roman rituals to the customs of Victorian England.

Here is my experience today!
Receiving flowers and wonderful gifts are nice BUT I remember those little moments that cannot be bought........Husband asked what I wanted for dinner, He is going to store to get and cook dinner, which means no waiting in line to be seated and steak that is over cooked. There is also a surprise dessert and cards that they have bought for me and three little smiles that will melt your heart better than any diamonds or flowers that can’t for tonight for me to open them.................. AND Girls opened there Valentine’s gifts this morning and said "you are the best" now that ALL is PRICELESS To me! Thank you family, your the best!
So at times yes flowers and gift would be nice but the best present is the little things that are often forgotten. Remember and cherish those moments!

February is the month of LOVE and since I have a career in Social media I see all the tips trades and national days.........
Today is National bagel Day, Tomorrow National Umbrella Day. This week is National marriage week. where do they come up with these things? But stuff I can totally blog about and gives the topics which makes it easy. So now on a personal basis, National Marriage week, from today I will be kind, cherish and say nice encouraging words to Ernie. You think I should let him in on the secret?    We often take for granite our loved ones thru the busy chaos called kids, life, work etc. We seem to remember the love on special days such as Valentines Day, Anniversary, birthday etc. How can we get back to Lovebirds? Well for starters always give your spouse a compliment. I know that a smile is worth a thousand words in my house. I love it when I smile and Ernie smiles back. Just a small gestures that did not cost a thing. There are a thousand sites that offer wonderful tips etc.
But one that I found is www.bestlovetips.com

Enjoy your day and start today with a smile and tomorrow a compliment, the next day a nice hug.............and so on......................Those are FREE and mean more than a bought box of chocolates that will make you fat! What is that implementing????? :)

Cleaning Yourself or NOT???

So here is a question for today as this discussion came up in our house......Is a Cleaning lady worth it to a MOM? Here is response to what most men do not think is worth the money.....My question....So who will help me sweep, mop, clean toilets, clean bathtubs, wipe the mirrors that no one can seem to wipe the water spots after they finish using sink (:), wash sheets, put back on bed, straighten the house, wash laundry, fold AND put away, unload dishwasher, vacuum, and DUST the ENTIRE HOUSE! whewww The answer I got.............we can help it will only take an hour or so. So after we have this conversation the last time, was anyone willing to help? NO here we are three weeks later and the topic came up. So after I cancelled the maid expecting the help to come from my family, nothing was done. I had to do it myself. Here we are again. SO I have came up with a chore chart and IT WILL BE DONE in between the hundred activities we have this weekend and a Super Bowl Party on Sunday. But bottom line no one that comes on Sunday will really notice the floor was not mopped, or house not dusted, maybe I should wait till everyone leaves ha. So question, supporters answer. Do you get a maid AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH to help out or do you save the over priced rates to clean house and do it your self?
I think most moms will sure agree with me that it is worth the money to get a jump start! Will see if the family can pull through and help out. If NOT FACT PROVEN!!! Moms have to do everything!
Moms just have a way of making it all pull together and look like a clean and spotless house. I have a sign on the refrigerator that states TOO BUSY MAKING MEMORIES.....the truth is that however sometimes we have to over look that and take hours and clean! So my OCD self everything has a place as well as has to be cleaned and straughtened at all times. When it all comes down to it, my house is always straigtened and not really that dirty! :) Happy Cleaning!
